Game Server Rules and Information
Game Server Administrators
!!!Please Note!!! An Admin or VIP member does not have to be tagged up in the server. if you are asked to do something by private message then please do it or you may be punished and kicked or even banned from the servers!
Please speak English on all [KMG] servers, We are a English community and find it rude if you speak in another language. Thank you
What Is Allowed:
Buy Scripts
Please try to use one that does not spam team say with the current items you have bought etc. as this can be very annoying.
Boosting
Boosting with 1 team mate is allowed. you are also allowed to plant the bomb in higher places so long as you only got there by a 1 man boost.
Camping
Camping is allowed in game. However you should only camp to follow map objectives, anyone found to be spawn camping will be punished. Examples of objectives would be CS_ maps terrorists have to guard the hostages, DE_ maps counter-terrorists have to guard the bomb sites. This means for example you cannot sit at T spawn on de_dust2 with an AWP waiting to pick people off as this is unsporting & also just plain annoying.
Punishments
Minor / First Offence – 1 Day ban from all Servers
Second Offence – 1 Week ban from all Servers
Third / First Major Offence – 1 Month ban from all Servers
Fourth / Second Major Offence - Permanent ban from all Servers
We Currently Have a 4 Strike Rule. Rules are there for a reason, if you break the rules on 4 or more occasions then you will be banned permanently from the community. Any other accounts we may think you have will also be banned.
Minor Offences
Sky Walking
Using the sky boxes above the map to walk along. If you are caught doing this then you will be punished. This normally takes a 3 person boost on maps to do this and as previous rules state, 3 man boosts are not allowed.
Grenade Spam
Anyone found spamming grenades, flash bangs or smokes will be removed from the server. This is not part of the game and if we believe it to be scripted you may also be punished for a longer period of time.
Ghosting
We have the best voice quality enabled on the server so the use of a 3rd party tool such as Ventrilo or TeamSpeak is unnecessary. Ghosting is where 2 people are in the same server, one is dead and tells his/her friend where the opposite team are located on the map.
Team Flashing
Throwing flash bangs intentionally at your own team to either provoke/irritate them or to hamper their game is a bannable offence.
Spamming Voice/Text Chat
Repeatedly spamming in game chat/voice comms with adverts/comments or voice communication with anything intended to distract other players will result in a ban.
Team Wounding
Shooting other players in your team intentionally to remove health points is also an offence and will result in a ban. Only applies to servers in which Team Wounding is enabled
Team Killing
Team killing, which is killing members of your own team on purpose, is also an offence. Anyone spotted team killing at spawn points will be banned. Only applies to servers in which Team Wounding is enabled
If you are subject to someone Team Killing you, please do not retaliate, as an Admin may be present .Retaliation is not justified under any circumstances. Please either report the player to Admin team or record a demo/screenshot of status screen.
Blocking
Blocking doors/windows needed by your team to progress with the objective on the map is unsporting and a bannable offence
Half Life Sound Selector
HLSS is not allowed on the servers, not even if its a 5 second clip as this can annoy other players in the server. If you want to listen to music then you can now type !radio in the server and tune in the FragFM. If you just want to annoy people then pack your bags and expect to be banned
Commonly Used Offensive Language...
...used in a game nickname. Offensive language will be determined by the Server Admin. It contains items such as the serious sexual swear words including racist terms, the rule of thumb is you should try and remain as polite as possible at all times on the servers
Admin Time Wasting
If you waste the Admins time by reporting some one to simply try and get them banned because you have a problem with them then you will be punished also. We do our Admin duties on our own free time so please don't make it any harder. (If you suspect some one of cheating then please do report it).
Major Offences
Cheating
Using ANY cheats/plug-ins/hooks/altered graphic card drivers to give you an advantage over any normal game install will result in removal from our community for life.
Serious Abuse
This includes any racist/homophobic abuse and prolonged use of sexual swearwords, We like to keep this place as fun and friendly as possible. anyone found breaking this rule will be removed.
Ban Evasion
If you are banned on [KMG] then this has been done for a reason. if you think the ban is wrong or unfair then please protest your ban as calmly as you can. Anyone found using another account to get back on the servers will have there other accounts banned also.
These rules are subject to change. This comprehensive listing may not cover every single offence possible. If an offence that is committed does not fall into the remit of these server rules directly or indirectly, the Head Admin team reserve the right to punish the offender accordingly or rule on any case where the offence is not clearly set out within the rules. The ruling of any member of the Head Admin team in any case is deemed final unless otherwise stated.
